PTFE is one of the most frequently used plastics in the industrial sector today. Its special properties make it suitable for use as non-stick coating, sliding and bearing films, insulating material and much more.

With the DBK film skiving machines (formerly also called Teflon skiving machines), which are in use all over the world, films can be produced in thicknesses of 0.025 - 5 mm with a width of up to 1600 mm. The outer diameter of the plastic block to be skived can be up to 800 mm. It is possible to adjust the skiving thickness in the entire thickness range in steps of 0.001 mm during the skiving process.
